TODAYS WEATHER
Thunderstorms in the afternoon, rained 3" yesterday, expect more today, what's cool is they make their own storms here, they don't have to wait for them to blow in from the Pacific then pan out. Every afternoon the prevailing cool winds blowing onshore from the Atlantic collide with the prevailing hot winds blowing East from the Gulf and badda bing badda boom instant storm.

YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK IF......
You have your ashes buried at the racetrack when you die
NASCAR fans who consider Daytona International Speedway their home away from home could soon make it their final resting place, too -- albeit less quiet and peaceful than a traditional cemetery. Legislation making its way through the Florida House and Senate would allow construction of an on-site columbarium -- a building or structure that houses urns -- at both Daytona International Speedway and Homestead Miami Speedway. International Speedway Corp. spokesman Lenny Santiago said many NASCAR fans have inquired over the years about having their ashes laid to rest at Daytona International Speedway. "We have a lot of fans that are very, very loyal to NASCAR races and to Daytona in general," Santiago said. "This opens that door, this bill, and we're hopeful that this will get passed." If it passes, the bill would become law July 1. It has been approved by two House committees and has its first Senate committee hearing today. Daytona International Speedway doesn't have a proposed location for the structure yet or any timeline for building it until the bill passes, Santiago said, although it would be somewhere public that fans would be able to see. He also said he didn't know what kind of fees the Speedway might charge to fans looking to place their ashes there

She took my application and said someone would call within the next 5 days to sch an interview, I said really, your not joking, she said no someone will call you, I asked can I wait right here on the couch, she said no not at night.
So now I wait

THE BEST DAMN GARAGE IN TOWN
Smokey Yunic was a legend in NASCAR in the 1960's, he was a owner / mechanic and had a garage in Daytona Beach called "The Best Damn Garage In Town", he won two Daytona 500 races with drivers like Fireball Roberts, Tiny Lund, and many other races. He was always at odds with NASCAR officials, and was caught cheating so many times they blackballed him from racing in 1968. His garage was one of my target stops, got there today, nothing left, ashes.

VIEW FROM LUXURY SUITES
Found minor flaw in security, took these pic's from the Home Depot suite 6 stories above the track, Home Depot rents this suite for $100,000 per race.
SORRY I'M LATE
Was held up leaving the track signing autographs, drove 4 laps, 90mph,120mph,140mph, and 160 mph, they have computer chip in car controlled by radio to limit your speed.
They take your blood pressure before you can drive, mine was normal, ask if your on medication, aah, no, they weigh you, check to make sure your eyes are not crossed. Strap you in then crew member leans into window right before you pull out and says " DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE".
After the 4 laps I pulled into pits, and I got out of car I wasn't sure weather I had breathed or not, they weighed me I lost 8 Lbs, checked blood pressure, 125/90, normal. Not sure if my eyes were crossed or not.

I RIDE
6 Laps, start at 70 mph, work up to 175 mph, when going down front at 70 mph track is about 5 lanes wide, some how at 175 mph track changes to about 1 1/2 lane wide, every few seconds driver kept telling me "don't forget to breathe". Got out of car and could hardly walk, drank full gateraid , only 6 laps.
Tomorrow 1 hr orientation, then 2 hr class, THEN I DRIVE
KIDS OF WALMART
So I'm in Walmart the other day doing my banking ( America's store ) waiting in line at the customer service counter when the lady in front of me tells her kid to "go over there and find me something to eat" pointing at cart with returned items in it. The kid goes over to cart and holds up one thing after another until mommy nods ok to some chips, he brings them back and they both empty the bag. Still hungry the boy goes back and searches around until he finds LARGE bag of Hershey kisses, he holds them up, mommy nods ok, and same drill. Next they are both thirsty, boy goes over searches around and finds liter bottle of Orange crush, same drill they empty it.
END OF STORY / NO
I notice lady is returning a dozen or so bags full of food as I'm waiting behind her, so when it was my turn I mention to clerk that I didn't know you could return food items, what could be wrong with them, he says people use their food stamps, which are only good for food, to buy food then return food for cash.
